“I decided to walk the Camino de Aparecida in a moment of inner search. The experience of walking in nature, away from the rush of everyday life, was liberating. The connection with other pilgrims, their stories and challenges, reminded me that we are all together on this journey of faith.”

Welcoming Pilgrims Towards Faith
Over the years, thousands of devotees have begun a spiritual journey towards the National Sanctuary of Our Lady of Aparecida, walking along the Presidente Dutra Highway. However, this pilgrimage, which should be a faith-enriching experience, often turns into a dangerous and strenuous odyssey without adequate infrastructure to meet the pilgrims’ basic needs. The Path of Enlightenment project was born as a comprehensive solution to transform this trajectory into a true journey of spirituality and security.
